STSS: Up for Adoption

Due to current (and long standing) time constraints, I'm not able to keep up with my beloved Small Town Snapshot Sunday meme.  I would love to find a good home for it if there is someone out there who would be dedicated to it weekly.

Leave comments here if you'd like to adopt it and give it a great home.

While I love that meme, I'm also trying to get more realistic about what I can actually accomplish so the main part of this blog (and my other blogs) don't suffer. Quality, not quantity, right??

  1. Wendy, I completely understand. I've been so busy with family and work as well... we can only do so much. I hate that I never had the chance to participate in STSS. I even bought a camera just for that purpose and still never found the time! I remain optimistic that I will one day start taking pictures again. I hope you find somebody that can take over.

Much love to you. I miss you! xox

  2. I also completely understand time constraints. I was waiting for you STSS post so I could tell you that I have no STSS post for this last Sunday. My father passed away on Thursday and I have a post about him on my blog. http://ksborn.blogspot.com/

  3. Hello Wendy~ I know what you mean by giving up your meme. I just gave up my memes over at my blog too. The last time they'll be posted is September 25th. And, I also combined my other blog to my current one so as to have one blog to manage. It's been very freeing. I feel I can devote more attention to what I love. Have a great day.

  4. Hello, Wendy. I understand about time... seems like there are never enough days in the week or hours in the day. Kids, work, business, 2nd business, more work, sleep (what's that!?)... I'd love to take over the meme for you, if you think I'm worthy. :-) And if people will actually follow my blog to read it, I think that'd be great. haha You can think it over and let me know. I'd be honored.

  5. I'm sorry you have to give up STSS. It's a good cause. :) Since I move around a lot, I couldn't say if I'd be in a small town or not. So I'd rather be a participant than an organizer. I hope you find someone soon, though to take up the cause!

  7. I would LOVE to adopt STSS! I have loved participating... I have so many small towns around me it would force me to get out and snap some of them!

  8. As you know, I didn't even find you and it til a few months ago, and I never did figure out how to participate! But I'll follow it wherever it goes ... and still follow you no matter what! You're one of the highlights of my week - I love how you see the humor even in the mundane, and I love how your love for your family shows in every post.

  10. Man, I love this Meme. I would totally adopt it and give it a caring and nurturing home. If not, I will definitely follow it wherever it goes. Man, that sounds so cliche.

  11. Thanks, my lovely blog pals, you're all so sweet and the highlight of my day! I will go do some blog visiting and pick one of you. This is tough! I didn't think I'd have so many offers!

  12. I just found this meme tonight and love the idea. I'm also loving your blog. If you can't find a home for the meme, I'd be honored. I need to be taking more pictures and it would give me a reason to get out more.

I love your wonderful writing. You are so down to earth, and your stories are making me chuckle (Hiding out in the bathroom with a magazine! I love it!)

From one small town girl to another, get out and enjoy yourself because you deserve it!
