My Icemaker

Apparently, my ice maker is having another psychotic episode. Those of you who have migrated from the old, dead blog will remember the long-winded tale of the ice maker from last year.

It has been very well-behaved for a while, but I have now (apparently) made it mad again by allowing two containers of homemade meatballs to sit in the ice bin for a couple of days. Heaven forbid the bin serves two purposes. Heaven forbid I treat the ice maker like the machine it is.

Those of you who are just tuning in... well, I'm sorry you're having to witness all this. :)

  1. Your our icemaker - its like Brad and Angelina. The public have an insatiable hunger for details! Also - nice to see you are very popular in the Phillipines.

  2. Ah, ice makers are nothing but trouble. Never have had one that worked right.

They can put a man on the moon, but they can't make an ice maker worth a damn.

  3. Chris, see... you got me addicted to the flag thing now. Darn you. I hope people don't start coming in trying to snap pictures of my ice maker.

Hawg... you should try my method. It really works!

  4. Wendy -- I don't know. I tend to just beat the hell out anything electronic and/or mechanical when it doesn't work.

I just don't have the patience for the whole "scorn/praise" thing.

  5. BWAHAHAHAHA!!!! Ours is quirky too. But I have a bad effect on machinery. We had a car that my mom used to coax all the time. She'd pray over it, tell it it was a good girl and that the 'service engine' light didn't need to be on, etc. It worked!

  7. The flag thing is awesome. However, let us resolve to be grown-up and non-competitive about it.

  8. Chris, you're right. We adult decorum. That is why I will not say anything like, "Neener neener, I've got Indonesia."
