Two Years Ago This Month

Just for the heck of it I wanted to see what I was doing two years ago this month.  So much has happened for all of us in the last two years with storms, a horrible economy, fabulous milestones, cataclysmic Earth events and sad, unexpected losses.

I thought I was due for a short trip down memory lane.  Here's what I was doing in January, two years ago:

BEING STALKED BY A TODDLER

TAMING A TODDLER

SPRAYING MY SON'S HAIR BLUE

MAKING BOLOGNA FACES

PLANTING SEEDS

RETHINKING LIFE CHOICES

What were YOU doing two years ago?

  1. That's a good question. I don't remember. I actually don't think that much has changed, except then I was living in CAlifornia and now I'm living in Munich.

  4. January 2008 I was posting about things in my grandmothers scrapbook, attending Big Boys Toy Show with our Big Screen showing center stage, celebrating my father's retirement, signing up for the YMCA, working on video projects (Cardio Mike's Boot Camp video), and participating in our Golden Wheat Chapter AHSGR (American Historical Society of Germans from Russia) Folklore Meeting. :)

  5. What a great post! I love the blue hair and the life direction photos.

Two years ago, my mom had just recovered from major surgery and I was spending some time visiting with her and helping her with some of the more demanding house chores. Wow!

  6. I was... wow. I was cleaning up a ton of baby messes. I had forgotten what a lot of mess babies make. Like half of my pictures from Jan 08 are of applesauce and cottage cheese everywhere they're not supposed to be.

  8. Two years ago I was anxiously awaiting the birth of my adorable, sweet (most of the time), genius of a granddaughter. She wasn't born until May, but being my first grandchild, I anxiously awaited her arrival from the day I knew of her existence! (I don't have a blog or journal to look back on for anything more specific, but I'll bet if I DID have one, it would have been full of posts about Avery Erin!)

  9. Two years ago I was dreamily in love and supposedly a month or two away from the beginning of something wonderful. How sad. Still waiting. Stupid boys.
