I loved this story!

In Florida you can buy almost anything from the back of a truck.
Peanuts, crabs, shrimp, collard greens, you name it! I once ate shrimp from a back of a truck and found out later that it had been sitting in the hot sun all day with no ice! I am lucky to be here! They were TERRIBLE. I also bought oranges from the traveling orange guy and THEY were also terrible. So, I don't think I will be buying anymore food from those traveling people at least.

Tamales, though, are hard to resist.Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03115002505324651653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2571590790949407117.post-81399699818335290392009-03-06T13:40:00.000-06:002009-03-06T13:40:00.000-06:00LMAO! Um, not to make matters worse but...some food borne illnesses can take months to show up :o it's a true story ;) I have bought food out of trunks. Mainly seafood..for real, shrimp usually. I was born in California but grew up all over (Texas, Missouri, & Arkansas were the 3 MAIN states but there were moments in other states too) and I've seen that the most along the coast. I'm glad you didn't die from the tamales. I would have missed this story then n that would NOT be cool :(♥ Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14591559212770014981noreply@blogger.com
